Municipality of Lima
The Metropolitan Municipality of Lima is the government entity of the Lima Province which accounts for about one-third of Peru's population. It has a special regime with the same atributions that those of the Regional Governments.

Plaza San Martín
Located in the 9th block of Colmena Avenue within the historic center of Lima. In 1988 it was declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO since it is considered one of the most representative public spaces in the city of Lima, Peru.

Lima Cathedral
It occupies the same place where the first major church in Lima was. Its Plateresque style cover stands out, flanked by two massive neoclassical towers. Inside there are two notable wooden works: the pulpit and the choir stalls, by the Spanish artist Pedro de Noguera.

Government Palace
Francisco Pizarro's residence (1535). It was built on the land of Taulichusco, curaca of the Rímac valley. Since then, it has been the center of Peru's political power. Daily, at 11:30 am, the Court of Honor is the scene of the changing of the guard by the Cavalry Regiment.

Church of San Francisco
It is one of the most extensive religious complexes in Lima. It was built in the second half of the 16th century. The cloister has notable architectural details: its Mudejar dome on the main staircase, the chapter room and the De Profundis room; that it owns 12 pictures of the school of Rubens that represent the Passion of Christ.

Huaca Pucllana
It is an archaeological site that belongs to the Lima culture, from the period of regional developments (200 - 700 AD), located in the Miraflores district. During the occupation of the Huari Culture the highest parts of the pyramid were destroyed and turned into an elite cemetery.

City of Miraflores
It is the place with more inhabitants and possibilities of spending time on entertainment activities, it has several nightlife establishments, cultural venues and shopping centers. In turn, it is visited by many foreigners for its degree of security, piers with parks and a panoramic view of the Lima coastline.

Bridge of Sighs
Barranco is an old spa that at the beginning of the 20th century brought together the Lima aristocracy. In the heart of Barranco is the Bridge of Sighs, a traditional bridge wrapped in an air of romance, for having been the site that started countless love relationships in Lima.

The Green Coast
Built in the 1960s when Mr. Luis Bedoya Reyes was Mayor of Lima. The parks and piers of the Costa Verde are the most interesing places to visit, all accompanied by the sound of the sea. From the Green Coast you will have a nice perspective of Lima. You can see how the buildings are erected above the clif.

Huaca Pucllana
It is a great adobe and clay pyramid located in the Miraflores district of central Lima, Peru, built from seven staggered plataforms. It served as an important ceremonial and administrative center for the advancement of the Lima Culture, a society which developed in the Peruvian Central Coast between the years of 200 AD and 700 AD.

Kennedy Park
Kennedy Park is one of the best known parks in Lima. It is located in the heart of the Miraflores district, it has an area of 25,000 m2. In the central park of the Park is the Town Hall or the Municipality and the Virgen de Milagrosa church, both constructions date from the beginning of the 20th century.

Lima at Night

Magic Water Circuit (closed on Mondays)
The Magic Water, recently inagurated in the Reserve Park, has become one of the new and most visited tourist attractions in this city. Awarded with the Record Guines and unique in America, this circuit surprises us with thirteen impressive sources that combine movement, lights, sounds and images.
